On Proceeding into the Storm

Perhaps strength in itself does not become morality, especially if what we seek is not the kind where we win or lose, neither some kind of surrounding protective wall that will repel the outside forces. Perhaps we are after the strength to be able to absorb the floating powers, to stand up to it. The strength to quietly endure what life has in the store - unfairness, misfortune, sadness, mistakes, misunderstandings.

What you wrote here resonates in my core. I have recently lost a great deal, money , divorce, things... but not love. I still have the love of my children, and from my friends now I must learn to reinvent my self from that love.
